| 10540 | I am unable to locate the birth/ baptism of James Miller at this stage. I have assumed Cavers Roxburghshire from the details on the marriage, but actual place of birth is unknown. | 10547 | I suspect that Sarah's two children have the same father, and that his name was ?? Morton. There are a number of reasons for my thinking this way. 1. On the baptisms of both children, they are recorded as son and daughter of Sarah only, not the illigetimate child of Sarah like many other entries. 2. Sarah also does not appear in the Bedfordshire Parish Poor Law Papers. 3. To me this could indicate that Sarah was living in a stable relationship and also she did not need monetary support. I suspect that Sarah has adopted the surname of Morton. 1. There is a witness on the marriage of Thomas Rawson to Belinda Beckett in 1808, in which the witnesses name is Sara de Morton, could this Sara be Thomas's mother. At this stage I have recorded it as such. | Roson, Sarah (Rawson) (I4489)
| 10548 | If aged 45 on the 1841 Census, then John could be born anytime between 1792 - 1796. Making 1792 aged 49 and 1796 aged 45. | Cairns, John (I7773)
| 10549 | If Alexander and Janet followed the naming pattern of Scotland the following should be the parents of both Alexander: Alexander & Helen Janet: John & Mary Alexander is definately an important name as I have located two births of sons called Alexander, so the first one most likely died young or at least before 1772. | Family: Alexander Pickard / Janet Stuart (F1297)
| 10550 | If William Radcliffe and Mary Martin are Judith's parents, there is a very long lineage going back in the Isle of Man. Many of the connections are recorded on Ancestry.com along with details of Wills etc. This certainly appears to be the correct parents, but I have no proof to say who Judith's parents are, just her age at death points to the year of birth around 1806. | Radcliffe, Judith (I639)
