10540 I am unable to locate the birth/ baptism of James Miller at this stage. I have assumed Cavers Roxburghshire from the details on the marriage, but actual place of birth is unknown.

Information regarding his date of birth has come from the Birthday Book of his Great Granddaughter Helen Miller who married William Elliot.

Miller, James (I7220)

10541 I am uncertain about this date as I cannot locate it on Scotlandspeople under King or Wilson, in any county.

Wilson, Janet (I4954)

10542 I am uncertain if this is the correct Samuel James Douglas.
He was still living when his wife died in 1941 according to the Death Notice.
Did he go to live with a family member who is now living in Auckland ?

Douglas, Samuel James (I4043)

10543 I had 1923 as birth year. need to check: Parents: John Cecil Steventon - Stevens and Mary Jane Bushby Stevens, Kathleen Mary (I1321)

10544 I have assumed Roberton, Roxburgh/ Selkirk due to the details on the marriage.
Actual place of birth is not known.
Possible Mother may be an Isabel.

Heatlie, Isabel (I7228)

10545 I have the Bible of Mary G Scott

Inside the Bible to Mary G Scott, from her affectionate grandmother with best wishes;
Born at Nevis Dec 17th 1889.
Ever bear in mind that it is a message from God.
God is Love, watch and pray that you enter not into temptation.

Scott, Mary Gillanders (I1726)

10546 At least one living or private individual is linked to this note - Details withheld. Family: Alister Murray Melvin (Murray) Clark / Living (F3)

10547 I suspect that Sarah's two children have the same father, and that his name was ?? Morton.
There are a number of reasons for my thinking this way.

1. On the baptisms of both children, they are recorded as son and daughter of Sarah only, not the illigetimate child of Sarah like many other entries.
2. Sarah also does not appear in the Bedfordshire Parish Poor Law Papers.
3. To me this could indicate that Sarah was living in a stable relationship and also she did not need monetary support.

I suspect that Sarah has adopted the surname of Morton.
1. There is a witness on the marriage of Thomas Rawson to Belinda Beckett in 1808, in which the witnesses name is Sara de Morton, could this Sara be Thomas's mother. At this stage I have recorded it as such.

Roson, Sarah (Rawson) (I4489)

10548 If aged 45 on the 1841 Census, then John could be born anytime between 1792 - 1796.
Making 1792 aged 49 and 1796 aged 45.

Cairns, John (I7773)

10549 If Alexander and Janet followed the naming pattern of Scotland the following should be the parents of both
Alexander: Alexander & Helen
Janet: John & Mary

Alexander is definately an important name as I have located two births of sons called Alexander, so the first one most likely died young or at least before 1772.

Family: Alexander Pickard / Janet Stuart (F1297)

10550 If William Radcliffe and Mary Martin are Judith's parents, there is a very long lineage going back in the Isle of Man. Many of the connections are recorded on Ancestry.com along with details of Wills etc.
This certainly appears to be the correct parents, but I have no proof to say who Judith's parents are, just her age at death points to the year of birth around 1806.

Radcliffe, Judith (I639)
