We do know that her Grandma in Scotland paid for her voyage back as well as the Nurse that accompanied her.
June remembers her father having to come and met her and that they travelled by train, this was most likely from Christchurch to Dunedin after taking the Cook Strait Ferry.
June arrived back home to greet two new brothers, Neil and Bob.
