It appears that Leslie's birth may not have been registered, same as his death, unless they are under his birth parents names.
The Cemetery records have Leslie listed as a 3 yr old when he was buried, but Gareth Winter the District Archivist for the Wairarapa Archive in Masterton, recently reviewed the burial records for me, and Leslie was recorded incorrectly as was only 3 months old when he died.

Corlett, Leslie (I6124)

It appears that Leslie's death may also not have been registered. Again this was recently reviewed by Gareth Winter, District Archivist, Wairarapa Archive, that no death records in Masterton relate to Leslie. His death same as his birth may never have been registered, or they may be recorded under the birth parents names in which we do not have access to.
