Born in Dover, England, he resided in Calgary's Forest lawn district since 1919 with the exception of the four years spent with the RCNVR during World War 2. Mr Keeler was a member of the Forest lawn Council and the School Board for many years, and in 1960 Keeler Elementary School was named in his nonor.
