8713 At least one living or private individual is linked to this note - Details withheld. Living (I3402)

8714 Can locate no marriage or divorce regarding her and Colin Ralston Wyllie, though they must have divorced for he remarried in 1952.
Have assumed Rowena adopted the SCOTT surname as common law wife, and relationship may or may not have been in Dunedin.

Family: Edwin Louis Scott / Rowena Marie Patricia Batt (F434)

8715 Can only locate the following on Scotlandspeople.

Elizabeth Smith
Parents: Hamilton Smith & Marion Morton
Birth: 9 May 1841
Bapt: Sept 1841
Carluke Relief Church, Lanark
Have this certificate, feel it is incorrect as they have the Mothers name in the Male Column and Hamilton Smith as the female - also not married.
Ref Carluke Relief Baptisms - CH3/459/1 20

Smith, Elisabeth (I7989)

8716 Cannot be certain about any of the burial records I have so far downloaded from Scotlandspeople.

The one most closest to what I think would have been William's age, is for a death on the 17th Jan 1841.

Burial Record: Buried 21st Jan 1841, William Gardner, Labourer, Exact Residence: Renton ?; Undertaker or Wright was Craig; Where Buried, In the Lair of Robert Craig, 7 West, New Graveyard; Cause of Death, Decline; Aged 69; Type of Funeral was Hearse with 2 Horses; Cost of Funeral was £3 6s 6d

The above burial would make William born c 1772, meaning around age of 20yrs when he married.
I have doubts about the occupation and place of residence. The only Renton I can locate is in Dunbarton, which I find strange he would be living in that area.
I also cannot connect this William to Robert Craig and our family. I did quite a bit of reserach on a Robert Craig that had married Margaret Gardner, but she was living in Glasgow and via their marriage notice her father was still living and at Paisley. Robert Craig was a Surgeon.

Other possible burials are:
3 July 1823, William Gardner, aged 66yrs, of Asthma and buried in J Thorntons Lair
(b 1757, m aged 35)
20 August 1823, Gorbals, William Gardner, aged 60, Decline
( b 1763, m aged 29)
16 April 1840, William Gardner, aged 63, Palsy
(b 1777, m aged 15)

Gardner, William (I4229)

8717 Cannot be certain about Janet in 1851, she may be under another surname.

only possible but query George as he is with parents in 1851, and the birth places are incorrect. Need more research to find her.

INNES George, Head, Un, 24, Cabinetmaker journeyman, Mortlach Banffshire
INNES Janet, Sister, Un, 35, Housekeeper, Mortlach Banffshire

8718 cannot be certain if this is correct Pauling, Edna Hermoine (I2706)

8719 cannot find a John Armstrong m to a Jane/Janet Elliot, including variations.
It appears that John Armstrong may have been married previously, due to son Walter Armstrong born c 1829.
Family: John Armstrong / Jane Elliot (F6524)

8720 Cannot find any record of a Philip Elliot of what happened to him at this stage Sep 2019. Lots of research required. Elliot, Phillip (I2044)

8721 cannot locate a birth entry for Euphemia.
Her surname may not be AMOS as it is very hard to read on Robert's death certificate as it has been blurred.

Amos, Euphemia (I2213)

8722 Cannot locate a marriage nor a death in England or Scotland relating to a Jessie Wintrup - regardless of details recorded.
she was on the 1881 Census, but uncertain about the 1891 Census on where they were.

Aitchison, Jessie Wintrup (I7481)

8723 Cannot locate any further details regarding Robert, either in England, Scotland or other parts of the world.
Needs more investigating.

Pauling, Robert (I3337)

8724 Cannot locate any of the family members on the 1881 Census.

Montgomery, Peter (I4980)

8726 Cannot locate marriage at this stage in Scotland or in England

Family: Alexander Purdie / Margaret Davidson (F1982)

8727 Cannot locate Nellie after the death of William in 1966. She is mentioned on William's War records as the Next of Kin informing them of his death in June 1966, as Mrs N Shepherd, 45 Bracken Street, New Plymouth.
Located two daughters.
Doreen Valerie Rose Shepherd 1928 - 2011
Helen Margaret Shepherd born 1934, New Plymouth.
Helen Margaret Shepherd married in 1955 to Edward George Hardy.
They appear on the 1957 Electoral Roll, living at the same address as William and Nellie - 45 Bracken St, New Plymouth.
Edward Hardy was listed as a driver
On the 1963 ER Helen is still living at the same address, but not Edward George Hardy.
They had divorced in 1961.

Found a Tree on Ancestry, saying that Nellie was born in 1903, and had married a William Shepherd but they had no further information. She had a brother Harold who went to New Plymouth NZ on this Tree.
Said her birth was registered as Nellie but on the 1911 Census she is recorded as Ellen.

If you require further information regarding the PAGE family - contact Amelie Page23 on Ancestry who is researching this family.

Amelie is stating that Doreen Shepherd born 16 feb 1928 and died 26 June 2013 was married to a Malcolm McPhee - this most likely is the son of Leslie Malcolm McPhee - have no proof of certificates etc

Mother Ellen Page appears to have died 1939 June Qtr, Stafford, Staffordshire, Vol 6B Page 19 aged 69

8730 Cannot seem to locate any marriage of a Francis Rosson (various spellings) to a Sophia
Suspect after intense searches that they were not actually married. Also cannot locate a death of a Sophia

Family: Francis Morton Rosson / Sophia _____ (F2054)

8731 Cannot seem to locate what has happened to this family after the 1851 Census.
They are NOT the family living in Renfrewshire. Uncertain if they have died pre the 1855 time frame as William was a Coal Miner, or they have immigrated to another Country or perhaps to England, Ireland, Canada, USA etc.

Family: William MacFarlane / Margaret Yeardly (F1300)
