In the foruth column of Entry No 12 in the Register Book of Births of the year 1893, before the name of the childs mother, insert Alexander Stevenson, Slater, on the authority of a Certificate in the form of Schedule (F) to the following effect.
In an action relation to the paternity of a female child, born January 9th 1893, at the instance of Poor Elizabeth Dean, Domestic Servant, 52 Duff Street Macduff, against Alexander Stevenson, Slater, Clunie Street Banff, the Sheriff at Banff on the 16th day of September 1896, found that the said Child was the Illegitimate Child of the said Alexander Stevenson.
