Edward Clark,
boilermaker, employed at the works of Messrs Morgan, Cable and Stevenson, at Port Chalmers met with a rather nasty accident yesterday forenoon. whilst engaged at a punching machine a piece of iron flew up and struck him in the left eye. He was promptly attended to by Dr Cunningham, but it is feared the sight will be impaired.
