  	GOOCH Raymond Alwyn (Ray) On Sunday, October 29, 2006, at Montecillo Veterans Home, in the presence of his loving family, after a long courageous battle. Dearly loved husband of Shirley, son of the late Louis Cyril and Lillian Gooch, adored and respected Father and father-in-law of Ron and Marg, Barry and Lorraine, Wendy and Bill McDonald, Robyn and Alan Harley, Wayne and Jo, Tracey McAdams-Monk and Dave Monk, and the late Lindsay, treasured Granddad, great grandfather and great great grandfather, loved brother of the late Joyce Henry, much loved brother-in-law of Laurie and the late Lois Lucas, and Rewa and Michael. "You didn't want to leave us, but we had to let you go." Thank you to the Montecillo staff, with special thanks to Brent for his amazing support. Donations to Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A funeral service to celebrate Ray's life will be held in Gillions Chapel, 407 Hillside Road, Dunedin, on Wednesday, Novemenber 1, at 2pm, followed by private cremation.
