- On November 18, at the Dunedin Hospital, William Henry, youngest son of the late John and Bridget Kemp, of Mount Cargill; aged 41 years. Deeply regretted. No flowers - the funeral will leave the Hospital (Cumberland Street entrance) To-morrow (Wednesday), the 20th inst; at 12.30pm for the Waitati Cemetery.

I William Henry Kemp of Port Chalmers Labourer hereby revoke all former wills made by me and declare this to be my last will and testament. I give devise and bequeath all my property whatsoever and wheresoever unto my brothers John Kemp and Edward Kemp as tenants in common in equal shares and I appoint them the executors of this my will.
As witness my hand this third day of September One Thousand Nine Hundred and Eighteen.
In the estate of William Henry Kemp late of Port Chalmers in the Provincial District of Otago and Dominion of New Zealand Labourer deceased.
We John Kemp of Port Chalmers in the Provincial District of Otago and Dominion of NZ Boilermaker and Edward Kemp of Dunedin in the said Provincial District Boilermaker severally make oath and say as follows:-
1. That we knew William Henry Kemp of Port Chalmers aforesaid Labourer now deceased when alive and that the said William Henry Kemp was resident or was domiciled at Port Chalmers aforesaid within this Judicial district and that the nearest Registry Office of this Court to the place where the said William Henry Kemp resided or was domiciled is at Dunedin aforesaid.
2. That the said William Henry Kemp died at Dunedin on or about the 18th day of November 1918.
3. That we believe the written document bearing date the 3rd day of September 1918 now produced to be the last will and testament of the said deceased and that we are the executors therein named.
4. That we will faithfully execute the said will by paying the debts and gegacies of the said deceased so far as the property will extend and the law binds.
5. That according to our knowledge and belief the estate and effects of the said deceased in respect of which Probate is sought to be obtained are under the value of £600.
6. That to the best of our knowledge information and belief the said deceased was born at Mount Cargill near Dunedin aforesaid of British parents and that to the best of our knowledge and belief he never abandoned, forfeited or in any way least his British nationality so acquired.
7. That to the best of our knowledge information and belief we these deponents were both born at Mount Cargill aforesaid of British parents and that we have not nor has either of us abandoned, forfeited or in any way least the British nationality so acquired.
