  	The inquest stated that James Readshaw Smith had boarded a NZR train at Taumarunui. He took a seat in the van and appeared to be alright, but soon the guards released he was not well and by the time they arrived at Ohakune Railway Station the Doctor pronounced he was deceased. A Post Mortem was done and the Dr found a large blood clot in the heart and was of opinion that death was due to cardiac failure, due to thrombosis.
