  	Alexander Pickard & Janet Stuart being cited & called compeared and confessed that they were irregularly married & produced a Certificate of their marriage dated Edinburgh the thirteenth day of January one thousand seven hundred & fifty five (13 Jan 1755) Witnesses: Thomas Watson & Janet Burket residents in Edinburgh & signed by Patrick Douglas, Minister. They adhered to their marriage before the sesson. The Moderator sharply rebuked them & exhorted them to serious repentance -
