  	Mrs J H Pauling The death occurred on Saturday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs L E Corlett, Martinborough, of Mrs Mary Ann Pauling, wife of the late Mr J H Pauling. Born in Elgin, Scotland, she came to New Zealand with her parents 63 years ago, arriving at Lyttelton in the ship "City of Glasgow". After a short time at Lyttelton, the family removed to Christchurch and thence to Ashburton. The late Mrs Pauling, who came to Masterton in 1900 with her husband and family, was a life member of the Wairarapa Caledonian Society. She is survived by a grown-up family of two sons and three daughters.
