  	Wedding MOORE - PAULING A quiet and very pretty wedding was celebrated on Thursday by the Rev G B Inglis, at the residence of the bride's mother (Mrs W Pauling), the contracting parties being Mr Charles Moore, the well-known and popular constable of Ashburton, and Miss Agnes Pauling, second daughter of the late Mr W Pauling. The bride who was given away by her brother, Mr J H Pauling, looked very pretty in a cream silk dress with heliotrope velvet trimmings. She wore the orthodox bridal veil and orange blossoms. Miss R Conland as bridesmaid wore navy blue serge, cream trimmed. The bride and bridesmaid wore gold brooches, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridal party left by the express for the north on their honeymoon, followed by the good wishes of the many friends present to witness their departure.
