  Notes	Thomas and Elizabeth had issue: 1. Robert of Redheugh, who was served heir to his grandfather, Robert of Redheugh, in July 1887. He married Effie McGregor Corbett and was dead by 11th June 1915. Robert had either a sister or a daughter, " Mrs Anna Mary Elliot or Elliot, widow", who sold Redheugh in March 1918 to James and Thomas Scott, tenants in Redheugh. James was killed by a bull in 1936 and in 1946 Thomas sold Redheugh to Sir Gilbert Eliott, 10th Baronet of Stobs. (Under the entry of Elizabeth Kyle in the Castleton Cemetery, there is an inscription - Arthur died in India, 24th October 1893, Aged 28)
